What is the Polar Bear Challenge?
It is an updated COVID-19 friendly version of our annual Polar Bear Dip fundraising event. You take some sort of polar plunge, video it, and post it to social media with our event hashtags and challenge your family and friends to participate and or donate. It is running from Nov. 1 - Jan. 1 to provide you time to fundraise and share the challenge. Help us hit our goal of $50,000 and lets make this challenge go viral!
What counts as a challenge entry?
Anything really - as long as you post it and #CRISpolarbearchallenge and tag @CRISadaptiveadventures. Jump in the lake, sit in an icebath, splash yourself with a bucket of frigid water, make a snow angel while in your bathing suit, or come up with your own fun way to 'prove you're a polar bear'!
How do I set up a fundraising page?
Click on the registration button, then select the ticket titled registration for polar bear challenge. From here you can set up your page for friends and family to pledge and donate. Customize your page by including a fundraising goal, a note about why you are fundraising, and pictures!
Is there a way to donate without having to 'prove I'm a Polar Bear'?
Of course! There is a donate button beside the button to register and you can select the amount you would like to contribute towards our fundraiser. Any amount is appreciated and goes directly towards supporting CRIS adventures and operations.
